Hi.

Brought our dormobile roof home today to clean, looks much better, but on the inside, paint is coming away. Is it possible to paint the interior of the roof? Does it require a certain type of paint? If so, what prep methods other than sanding are required? Luckily, the outside seems ok.

Thanks

Originally they were plain. I have seen them successfully painted with ordinary household gloss or satin paint. Also seen a few finished in upholstery type thin carpet stuff, looked ok.

I did mine with household gloss 3 yrs ago, still looks good, and if you do get any winter mould problems it just wipes of gloss.

this is a great domestic primer for nearly all surfaces, including glass!! http://www.zinsseruk.com/product/b-i-n/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

+1 for the white gloss, that is what we have. It is easy to wipe down and clean and makes the interior a lot brighter too. I have also seen them carpeted which will help to prevent condensation problems.

At the end of the day its only fiberglass so any proprietary covering will do i guess.
