Earlybay Surf Campout 12-13th June CANCELLED

Same for us - if the weather forecast is good we will be down. May be late Friday or early Saturday morning if we have to stop part way down - depends on what time we can escape. Son in law, 2 little ones and myself. It's just too far too come from Cheltenham for a weekend with 2 little ones if the weather is manky and school is done too chuffed at pulling them out without good reason for a longer break.

We were in North Devon with them this weekend and they loved it so fingers crossed get the poor weather out of the way in the next few days and then perk up in time for the campout

if theres no surf or if its 7ft and onshore then its really a bit silly to drag folk all the way down here...i`ll keep my eye on the long range.

right the bus is packed for bristol,saunton and perranporth, so i will be offline till after the eb surf weekend.

well the date looms closer. I will keep all updated as to weather and conditions....looks like my bus will be coming on a trailer as there is no way i`ll get dvla reg by then but hey ho.

Now the BBC weather update is saying rain Friday, heavy rain Saturday and sunny periods on Sunday - hope the local forecast is going to be better

Waves are proper rubbish at the moment here in north devon, money is running low too, just debating whether to travel a bit further down to perran at the moment, we have put the awning up in three different locations this week already.

The weather forcast keeps looking bad... but the suns been out everyday this week.

Right i'm back off to the beach to tackle the 1ft monster wave at saunton lol

i`m cool if everyone has lost enthusiasm as i`m way too busy right now and my bus isn`t finished either. In fact i have less than 14 days to finish both for the hire company.
So please only say if you are coming as i can take it or leave it and in all honesty there hasn`t been any real organisation other than typing on here so no offence will be taken. If folks are going to turn up then i`ll have a beer and a braai with them, if not then i`ll carry on working on my busses to try and meet the deadline...been gawd knows how many days solid work now 14 hour days 7 days a week :!:

Ending up with GF having to work the weekend - and still really need to fix my oil leak, not gonna be able to get there i'm afraid......

hello ant, nice lookin bus you have... seen you camped near the toilet block on lobb, my folks are staying on there at the mo.... (i was visiting in my work van, black vw with "greener developments" on the side...
have a safe trip back.

scott...... less work more fun... why else did you move this way?????? besides we will be there... camping at st.agnes tho, wave's not looking bad, light onshore 3 to 4 ft 10/11 secs...

you know where i will be ....way-out-back. (bout 2 miles :lol: ) bone head taught me well!!!
