yer i hear that MWS have shocking offsets!

I dont want to go super narrowed just noticable

also i hear if you use a splitty bean you can go for dropped spindles and get a smoother ride?

Dave

You hear correct!..You can use dropped spindles on any beam though.with a bay beam the max drop is around 7"'s..you can go 9" with a split beam.Thats the route im going for that reason as i want silly slammmmmmmmed. Also dont want to have to keep changing ball joints every mot time. my bus is a 69 so its an easy exchange..i think later model have diferent mounting bolt positions??

I dont know if its the same for a bay beam but my split was done by a Guy in the states By the name of Long Roofs(Ex Jiffy bus owner)

The beam was narrowed 2 "'s buy removing the 'stubs' that sit wheel side of the towers then the arms put back on and torsions cut to sit where they should do if standard.Very easy to do if you have a good cutter..and a steady hand :)

I've got some 15" splitty rims which are 4" wide.
All straight but tyres are shot.

Offers?
Sorry if these wheels are not from a split.
But they are 15" x 4" and they are VW.
I'll take £40. Let me know if you still want them.
