Hi all, Im new so im hoping i can be forgiven :D

Ive just bought a 68 us import microbus which starts and runs fine however I havent put any petrol in it as of yet.

When i do, am i to use unleaded, unleaded with an additive or search around for LRP - not so convenient?

Or do i just bite the bullet and buy the conversion kit for it ?

What do you guys do ?

Cheers in advance for any help

Hi and welcome, just use regular unleaded at your engine will run fine as these were designed to use 2 star petrol and they have hardened valve inserts due to the alloy heads, so just fill up and enjoy it. 8) Cheers nick.

just to confirm - I've run all my VW's on un leaded without a problem.people tend to panic over the unleaded issue but VW's had harded valve seats ( I think 68 on not 100%) so it isn't an issue.
