I've been given a case which I'm going to get checked over for a build later this year. Knowing nothing about engines does anyone have a pic of a bus case showing the additional mount holes so at least I'm sure it's the right case before getting it checked over ?

Cheers

This is what I currently have btw ...

That is the correct case, you have 2 m10 holes and a smaller one bottom centre.

Thanks matey. At least I know it's worthwhile getting it checked over anyhow !

Make sure you check the pulley hole size, the oil relief pistons size and the distributor bronze gear size too before spending money on this case.
That was a Vege engine and they machine the heck out of the cases.
I have one here that has an oversized pulley hole, so the line boring machine does not fit unless you have a special nose bush made for the size.
The oil relief pistons can be oversized too, they can be a custom size. If they have been machined and not present, chances are you will have to get them made.
The distributor bronze gear can be different too, they could have skimmed one side of the case; that alters the distance form the crank to the distributor shaft, so you might need a special size gear.
These Vege engines are, in most cases, a disposable engine.
If you have all those parts together with the case, maybe you will be fine.
