Hi Guys

Can anyone recommend what company to go with, Going in mid august for 8 weeks around Europe.

Most Classic car policies have Euorpean Brake Down Cover included, check your policy.

I tried to get cover with the AA, managed to agree enough cover, only to find out they wanted £108 for 2 weeks. I then found out that I had adequate cover with my Footman James policy :mrgreen:

Yer i've got 60 days cover which is fine, but they will only cover me for 30days at a time. Random. Waiting to hear back from them. But will probably have to find new cover.

i have heard ADAC are very good

http://www.adac.de/mitgliedschaft_leistungen/mitgliedschaftstarife/membership/default.asp?ComponentID=30621&SourcePageID=193391" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

saw a thread on th ssvc recommending them.

Dont tell them when you went over ;)

My Footman James policy only has 35 days cover, I had to pay an additional 150 quid to extend that to 6 months cover.

It comes with European breakdown cover, but I also have RAC european breakdown cover as I got suckered into paying extra for a ´premium´bank account! But I beioeve I can only usde RAC twice in any year...?

Yer im with Justkampers insurance and breakdown cover with them through a 3rd party. The've told me i've got to pay £30 extra for cover for the 60 days im planning on being away.

Just check that you get recovery to the UK as part of the policy.

I used Glynwood insurance in Reddich 65 quid for 12 months cover including recovery to the UK.
