haveacamper & I are booked in for the weekend 8)
My cross dresser is now in the show & shine, just need to make it show worthy & shiny now

Are there any plans to cruise over there?

Clem

Thanks for this, out of interest do people normally travel from the UK on the Friday or on the Thursday?, interested in doing this one this year and would love to travel with other EB folks so what are peoples plans?

Also which ferry route do most people take to get there, Dover Calais? or is there a cheaper alternative?

I believe the norm is to use Norfolkline Dover - Denquerque(sp?) should be £50 or less return.

We are going out on Thursday night due to work commitments, then leaving Sunday afternoon.

Yes, Dover - Dunquerque is the favoured option.
Ill most likely book a ferry this weekend, last year was about the midnight ferry on Thursday and then drove straight to Chimay, and then slept, and then sailed back early doors Monday after leaving the show Sunday, driving north and kipping near the ferry port.

About midnight meaning 2am
Great drive over there though and the ferry is pretty cheap if you book far enough in advance.

Will be doing Hessisch this year too so I'll catch up with a few EB'ers on site at Bug-In.

Night is night at that point! I was asleep for most of the journey anyway!

Just looked at the Norfolk Line site, what Ferry are people going for on the Thursday pm? and on the way book.

Would be good to hook up with other EBers

Im booked on the 22.00 crossing on the Thursday and returning on the midday crossing on the Monday.
I always do it this way and if for any reason you need to return earlier its not normally a problem.

I used to work for Norfolk line and their is a waiting area behind the main office in Dunkerque that you can over night in if you need to.

For anyone interested there is a big supermarket just up the road from the port and a large duty free shop about 20 mins up the road on the Belgium border.

Now here's a disappointed fellow. :(
Was really looking forward to this event as it was on the 'suggested list' of events not to miss. Just checked with the 'social secretary' and it clashes with dates for a 'Take That' concert that I had bought tickets for her and her daughter as a Christmas pressie ... oh well looks like Bug In 4

Sounds good, just got to make sure my bus is ready in time :)
How much is it for a weekend pass and camping?
how longer drive is it to the venue from the port?

About £35 ish depending on the exchange rate you get.

Its about 120 miles from Calais, so a couple of hours or so.

Does anyone know if you can still get tickets for this, or do you just turn up on the day?

You can pay on arrival, but you wont be able to get camping.

Thanks for the replies, ordered them now I just had not realised where they were selling the tickets from on the website - Doh

No EBI in 2010, next one is 2011 ...... so make the effort if you can :)

Yes.
And don't miss the Party.
See u there.
