Exhaust Stud

Can anyone tell me the thread size of an exhaust stud. The thread in the cyclinder head is mashed so i'm going to use an 'armacoil' insert but need to know which size to order.

Hi Dylan,
IIRC the standard size is M8, not able to get to the Bentley Manual at the moment, so only 90% sure.

Hi, ive got a couple of oversize studs if your interested, they are for busses with worn threads in the cylinder. They are if I remember rightly 8mm on one end and 9mm on the other.
I assume you tap it out to 9 mm and away you go.
I bought them for my bus but they were no good because my bus has a type 4 engine and they are longer.
Got them from C&C if I remember rightly, you can have them if it helps you out.
