Hi I have been told i need a new exhaust...... My budget isn't that great at the moment :-(

I'm getting the heat exchangers done at the same time

I have looking at the EMPI quiet pack exhausts on JK, are they any good or would I be better just replacing with a stock standard exhaust ?

Thx for your help

Hiya mark

Most of the cheaper budget exhausts get a bad rep regarding not lasting because the black paint they come in is just transport paint, so whatever you decide to get, first thing is to strip it to bare metal and paint properly with heat resistant paint 8)

Hi

As Shaun Said the most important thing is to remove the packing paint and repaint in VHT.

A empi system will actually be a bit cheaper than stock.

Do give me a call this week as it's brighton breeze at the weekend and I can help a little with price. ;)

EMPI JK

Thanks Alex, but I think the garage has ordered  and Im going to miss the Brighton Breeze :-(

The heat from running the engine will strip most of it off in the first 50 miles, that's what opens them up to rust out if left bare metal the hard bit is trying to repaint it in ht paint again whip the valance and and bumper off and you should get in to re paint it fully bar a bit of masking off
