Stayed here last summer in my tent but took my bus this weekend, they welcome "vintage camper vans". The site is beautiful with campfires allowed! Walking trails through the woods and a trout fishing lake a half mile walk. An onsite restaurant and shop is basic but nice, logs available for fires and there are hot showers.
I think this is an awesome campsite with friendly people.

Stayed here twice last summer as well. Really nice. Very good back to basics site.
They hire these great grills that go over your campfire (a must for any good campsite IMO) so you can cook for everyone!
Will definitely return.

They also run another one near basingstoke called Inwood. Poss even more basic as no restaurant or shop. Option to camp within the woods or in fields.
We stayed there, big group of about 10 families plus kids (about 14 of them ranging from 6 months - 12 years!!) & had great fun despite it raining!
If my van had been running we would have had:
x1 EB (mine)
x1 LB (sister's)
x1 T25
x1 T4 panel van

Looks nice, might try to book a weekend up at some point, what access like with a lowered (slammed :D ) truck?

slammed???
ermm v tricky I would have thought!! Might depend on which bit you were camping
someone in our group had a Mazda RX8 and was a bit worried about it grounding. Went up the track we were on and it did ground a couple of times...
food for thought!
