The cauldron has been bubbling away this evening!!!

DSCF0819.jpg

Going to give it overnight to 'ferment' then freeze so as to defrost whilst travelling ready to just heat through Saturday evening. ;) Has got Aarons seal of approval on the flavour stakes, as said will provide hot sauce for those wanting more fire!

Fairly busy morning coming up, adjust brakes, swap steels for Empi 5's, grease front end, plugs/points tune up, clear out crap from interior, check driveshaft bolts torque, down to local bike shop for 'urgently needed' new handlebar grips for Aarons bmx  then to opticians to try his new specs.... breathe in then lunch and pick up Dad for meeting at Mums nursing home at 2pm. So much going on, am really looking forward to this coming weekend and having a bit of a breather. And lots of Witcap :D

MOT on the crew cab was aborted today as it was too low to go on the ramps

Another booked tomorrow where they have a pit :)

It's a win already, I think. ;)

Looking good pete :D :D :D do you want to bring/do anythying for our "carpark" picnic

Matt, you asked what to bring.
Would be helpfull if everyone attending this most exclusive, high class and 'by invitation only' event please initially remember the dress code, and then bring their own plates/bowls and cutlery, I'll be buggered if I'm supplying plates and forks for everyone then washing up afterwards!!! Please bring a chair, we can then eat, sit and chill for a bit. I'll have a few beers to hand, but to be honest The Roxy have enough booze and for me this makes a nice little break from the alcohol onslaught!!

So in answer to your question Matt, just bring a plate and fork, a good appetite, beer if you want it and a happy smile!! :D

No worries Pete. Big grins all round from us m8. :) :)

Shell's said thats she going to bring some "bits" (French bread, doritos etc) to add to your 5 star chilli.

6 days to go :D :D :D

08.20 train Sat morning.

Not certain what time the cruise will leave the 'bonjour' services, but thinking probably about 10am local time?
If you are on the 08.20 that means getting off the train about 09.50 or so local time (1hr ahead).
If the cruise has left, the first stop will be at 'Nieuwpoort' services for a re-group and re-fuel. Take a look at the map and Nieuwpoort is clear to see whilst heading north on the A18/E40.

Couldn't possibly say, somehow missed the services and met up at Nieuwpoort...... which was fun seeing as Graham had no fuel and I'd said the first sevices were just out of the tunnel.....

I'm not going at the front anymore

Couldn't even guess from the year before, kinda lost in a Witcap induced haze :D Looking through the photos when I got home last year, got a bit of a clue as to what had been going on. Still have no recolection of bumping into Deano after I left the Roxy, but the pics proving it were there and he remembered the encounter which did account for the two Witcap glasses found in my bus the next morning (4 glasses found on a window sill in the street ;) )

And if it is 11am departure, gives us about 2 and a half hours for a kip and breakfast to make up for the stupid early start.
