I have collected parts for my front end drop for my -70 Baywindow single cab.
Now i have frenchslammers forced drop spindles and today I did get all disc brake parts (used) for he front. Of -79 VW bay.
Question is, do I use disc brake back plates in new assembly? I know they dont bolt-in the new spindles. But it looks like it could
be done with couple new threaded holes in spindles and custom made spacer plate between new spindle and backing plate?
Has it been done before or do I forget the backing plates for good ?
