Can anyone tell me what a rough price is for an og badge in good condition is? Don't wanna get ripped off,,,cheers

Ive been looking for a while, missed one today on fleybay, went for £36 + 5 postage!
They are not cheep, 2 chrome ones last week were £50 ish each i think
Id rather wait and pick up a bargin somewhere, although you can get new plastic ones in white or chrome for £20-£30!

That's about right, I paid £50 after postage for an immaculate original with all pins in order and top chrome from the Samba. I originally bought a crappy stainless steel one from K & K, but sent it back, it just wasn't right (for me).

They are getting hard to find, someone ought to make them in chrome, there's a demand for them.

I picked up an original emblem for around £40. Another tenner for paint stripper and another £50 to get it re-nickelled/ re-chromed.

Expensive yes and unnecessary, but I also returned a stainless steel badge and don't trust the quality of 'show chrome' repro badges.

Thousands spent on the exterior so I couldn't have a cheap plastic repro badge as its centrepiece!

I blame the Beastie Boys for this:

og badges regardless of the condition fetch anywhere from £40 upwards, remember these are original badges not repro (the manufacture of repro badges has now been stopped by VW)

Aircooled accerssories.com have some polished stainless ones for £49 - dont know how good they are tho?
