Front Bench Seats

I'm confused, how do you convert a front bench seat to two single and vice versa. Were there specific models with 2 or 3 seats or was this an option?

Also could a bench incorporate two 3 point seatbelts?

There were different models - walkthroughs had 2 single seats & bulkhead vehicles had the bench made up of a 2/3rds seat & a single for the driver.
There is an option code M501? M502 ?(havent got the book to hand) that allows you to convert a walkthrough into a bulkhead style seating van - there was one for sale on here a little while back.

Your question about 3 point seat belts, the quick answer is yes, you need the sort where the buckle is on a length of webbing not the type with the cable stalk. It is also possible to fit a center lap belt.

I bought that little lot M501. It's pictured in the bus here, but I've got a problem with the bottom of the bench seat fouling the runner. I'm not sure why, unless there are different models of bench as I had one in my walkthrough Devon as well. It seems that I need to bend a small loop into the bar on the seat to clear the runner. (Note, I have removed the microbus rubber from the top of the bracket and sprayed it pastel white to match the Westy kombi interior.)
