front shift rod bush

Do they just go over the shift rod and push in to the tube that runs through the chassis? There's nothing there on mine currently unless they are pushed right up inside the tube

I found these two but their different, which is correct for early bay?

The second bush is the one you need, it just pushes into the hole on the front of the gear rod that locates onto the stationary pin/rod. I didn't think I had one until I cleaned all the grease off that had built up over the years.
