Fuel filters

What does everyone use on their buses? Glass or plastic? I've heard horrors about the glass filters cracking/shattering? Or are they just the cheap ones?

Plastic at £1.40 a pop for the larger size and I change it frequently

Plastic, under the fuel tank to minimise connections in the engine bay.

I use a scat billet cased fuel filter with a cleanable/replaceable filter...cost £20 from vw heritage but wont split like the others.
