I've recently bought some of the large, roughly six inch fuel pipe to go from my filler neck to the fuel tank on my '69. This was acquired from Schofields at Dubfreeze and it appears to be slightly oversize in that even witout the large fuel clips on it won't go through the inlet hole when it's attached to the filler neck.

Has anyone had this issue before or heard about it, or have any suggestions of other suppliers?

I probably could open the inlet pipe hole up but i'd rather not if it is just the fact it is oversize pipe.

whs^^^ Best quality and cheapest price. Should be 57mm - if the Schofields one is bigger then get your money back!

Thanks for the replies.

I will contact Schofields to see if they have had any issues before and hopefully get a refund. I will then get on and order one from here.

I tried it again the other day with no luck and measured the internal bore and wall thickness of the pipe, the pipe wall is 5/6mm thick and this is causing the problem once fitted over the metal inlet pipe. The internal bore is 57mm.
