my fuel pump seems to be leaking should I get a new one or a repair kit ,new ones are a sealed unit oh and were can I get a repair kit thanks .

Replace or repair - its your choice.

One of the many places selling the parts http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_2_bay/type-2-bay-original-vehicle-parts/engine/fuel-system-filters" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Search a bit on the net for more retailers.

When the pump is fixed then change the oil because it sounds like your oil is diluted with petrol.

Better not to use the vehicle till its fixed.

my fuel pump is vw pump with one screw on top others look like they've got about six around
the top will repair kit still be suitable.

Its cheap enough just to buy a new pump.
I had a OG VW pump on mine that leaked like a seive on the way back from cornwall last year and after looking around to find the correct gasket set i just fitted a sealed unit pump. 10 mins and your up and away again.
But as said change the oil 1st, then also change it again in about a 100 miles or so just to be sure. I would rather run it and change the oil than be tempted to use a flushing agent

New fuel pump fitted after having to return to gsf for new push rod as new pump takes a smaller one 8 mm to be precise oil plug out letting oil drain until tomorrow thanks for the help.

replaced oil 30 golden film as per gsf instructed but after 15 mins getting blue smoke please advise could this just be burn off?
