Fully restored California Pop Top Westfalia camper.3 previous owners in the USA, with a huge file of history. I bought this off the 3rd owner who bought the bus to restore and did a fantastic job, unfortunately the paint job was let down my microblisters in the finish. It has now had a full bare metal respray by a porsche/ferrari specialist paintshop. I originally planned to sell this bus due to redundancy last year, and now due to the cost of getting it to this standard ive decided to let it go to clear some debts and keep the wife happy, as we also have a 78 westy.

Photo recorded restoration, over 200 pictures. Full bare metal respray in its original colour. Fully UK registered, taxed and MOT'd.

This bus is a dry California vehicle with no signs of any major rust or accidents. Fully baremetalled and repainted with new seals. Interior is all original and great condition, with new westy mustard seat cover, and new front door cards and seat covers.. New upgraded 3 window pop top canvas and seals recently installed. This bus runs and drives well with all electrical functioning as it should. Tires are new. Transmission shifts well and does not pop out of any gears .New recon 1600. Brakes work great,being a 71 it had disc brakes up front.Brakes recently renewed. Very solid and straight body. This is a great looking early Westy in one of my favorite early model Westy color schemes. Great bus to enjoy with the family for years to come. It has had no expense spared with a top of the range Alpine sound system, twin batteries with split charger and 21v power outlets fitted.
