Aplogies as I know this question has been covered before but I am struggling to find a solution! I have asked on other forums but as I have an EB you guys will know!

I am looking for a suitable tow bar for my '71 Bay. I have just fitted a JK stainless manifold with a right side exit exhaust -

http://www.justkampers.com/vw-t2-bay-window-parts/t2-bay-exhaust-parts/1600cc-exhausts-heat-exchangers/stainless-steel-4-into-1-manifold-vw-t2-beetle-1300-1600cc-1963-on-vw-t2-split-1500-1962-on-vw-t2-bay-1600cc-1967-1979.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Autocraft have told me that their bars will not work with this set up

Apparently JK tow bars might fit (albeit with only a few mm to spare) so I will call them but does anyone have maybe a Gadget Westie (?) bar with this type of exhaust or have any other recommendations for tow bars that would work?

I am waiting on a quote from Watling Engineers but I supect that will be £££££'s to have one made.

Any thoughts or recommendations? Many thanks.

Jules

A Westy towbar, or a Gadget westy towbar should fit with that.

I have a 4 into 1 stainless system fitted with a Westy towbar.

That is good news! Thanks for the quick replies.

Next question -

Who has a Gadget westy towbar for sale :D
