is a CM codeded 1800 box the same as 2000 ?? it has 5 ribs?? or am i missing some difference!!

No, different gear ratios.

A CM 1800 is a rare gearbox, they are very hard to come by.

are they not the commercial one? panel van gbox? lower gearing for shifting weight. not so great on the m way but a stonker off the lights

They are higher geared than a 1600, but not as high as a 2.0L.

It would be a good upgrade.
