Gearstick problems

Hello, I've got a 71 bay, and even when picking it up from Felixstowe the gearstick keeps popping out from the ball in the socket when pushing the lever too the right, any ideas. I've also changed all of the shift rod bushes, coupling bushes, nose cone bushes and seal.

Worn gearstick or front shiftrod?

Cheers mate, it was a pain when I went to pick it up, the stick just spun around and I had to tow it out of the yard to the pick up truck, I'll have to take it back out, clean it up and give it the once over.

Found out the small shaft that inserts into the front bush (below the cup) was bent out of position and also it was pointing downwards



so I placed a small diameter tube over the shaft and slowly bent it back straight (with the eye), and now it doesn't pop out when moving the gear lever.
