Nope, I say fix it and faux patina the paint. Patina is beautiful, damage isn't in my opinion.

Yeah, looks dog rough! I don't think I even need to faux it, not down to the primer anyway. Need to get that crappy re-spray off the side and rear as well.

You use oven cleaner Squareweave?

Oven cleaner and green scotchbrite. The warmer the day the quicker it works because of the oven cleaner being activated by the heat. I have also used graffiti remover too. I can share a few tips in blending the paint if you want when it comes time
