Hello bay geeks
I'm having trouble re starting when warmed up... starts perfect when cold.
I think its the rubbish empi single carb I have fitted, but really not sure. has anybody else had this problem!
Thanks

When you mean hard to start - what happens?

Does it turn more slowly than when cold - battery on its way out
Is the spark weaker/less bright when upto temp as the coil can be degraded
Is the engine timed up correctly? Which dizzy are you running?
Valve gaps been done recently as they can close up when hot and make it harder to get a hot engine running

Maybe post a pic of your engine bay and someone could offer a little more help although it might be as simple as Justin suggests and a hot start relay maybe the easy solution

What he`s saying ^^^, Most issues with starting, and that`s hot or cold, are down to something that should be treated as regular maintenance. So double check all your things that need checking like the valve gaps and plug gaps points gap etc etc and then go from there.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Then you`re not guessing so much
