My '68 has the single fixing type headlight - and I need to replace at least one of mine - seems options are limited unless one has the additional fixing tabs inside the headlight bowl.
All I actually need on one of the headlights is that metal band that the ajustment screws fit onto, that goes around the reflector - mine has rusted into pieces. Anyone got an old one lying around?
If I wanted to be able to use the newer (and cheaper!) headlights, is it possible to weld in some tabs, or is there a better way - I'm guessing such tabs would have to be 'scratch built'?
Any one use the 'smooth lensed' halogen lights as sold by Heritage (and others)?
