Currently re-painting my microbus (brilliant blue / white roof) and will be ready to install a new headliner before too long.

A local trimmer (I'm up in Bradford) is happy to do it and can supply a pure white headliner material. I'm a little worried that this might look a bit overpowering. So I wondered if any of you can recommend a supplier for material that is an accurate colour replacement for the original.

I've opted to have the trimmer make up the roof lining as I've had a few reports of new ones being trimmed to the bone with absolutely no spare to work with.

Try Martrim...Off White Perforated PVC Headlining - £10 / linear metre.

Thanks gvee, Martrim have it on price so far.

Anyone have any comments on getting a close to original colour match or is off white pretty much the same across suppliers?

Am I right in thinking the originals were never pure white . . . ?
