Upol Raptor is better than gravitex. Comes in boxes of six which will be plenty for the underside of a bus. Did the loadbed of my sc with 2.

cheers for that :)

No probs. Get a mask though for when you spray it.

And put sheets over anything around where you are spraying. As it comes out thick the overspray travels a fair distance and it sticks like **** to a blanket!

cheers for help gents, once all the old underseal is off i intend to reseal all the joints with seam sealer ,is it ok to prime the underside then stone chip then top coat or have i got this in the wrong order :D

Personally I'd go etch primer, then seam sealer and if you buy the tintable raptor it can perform its party trick...

You mix up the raptor with the hardener, it doesn't need any thinners, and then you dump in some of your topcoat (I'd advice a 2k direct gloss for this), so you end up spraying the textured finish in the right colour. No over painting with a less durable topcoat. A stronger finish in less time!

ive looked through some of your post and clearly know your stuff when it comes to paint ,sadly money problems have hit with the resto ,i am going to finish the bus as a full nut and bolt but all the paint and body work has got to be done on the drive and the paint will have to be done under a trg tent so anything 2k is out of the question from a health point of veiw .so wish i had the £££££ to just finish the last few little welding bits and pop it on a trailor ,drop it off and then coll it all done .looking into it a bit closer is gravitex 2k based as well
