How much would it cost roughly to have these holes filled in and the bumper repainted?

Reason I ask is because I think another blanking bolt would look **** .

Also what would be best for removing this nasty sticky number plate tape without ruining my paint? (I don't have any finger nails left so can't try that!) :D

can`t say how much for the bumper holes......but used to work in van signage and we used white spirit and meths to get rid of stickiness

bumper would`nt cost more than 100 sheets surely and thats being really generous

That's what I was gonna try but it suddenly dawned on me that white spirit might eat away at the paint?

No
I've know peeps to use it for lubricant when clay barring, also good for cleaning alloy wheels.

Also, is there anywhere can mail order a can of cloud white aerosol paint from?

Paints4u.com mix any colour!! Used them before for metallic paint and they were a good match!

From a repair place you'll look at about £100 plus , they'll be a minimum charge.

As it's a limited area that's bookended by the overrides I'd do it by spray can, once it's polished back and the new plate fitted you won't notice.

Toffe wheel to remove the sticky, mate at work put me on to these for removing tape etc from paint work, looked YouTube and dead easy

For the bolts why not paint all 4 exposed bolt heads in your cloud white, not so obvious as chrome and in the future you still have holes if you need them...

I'd never need the holes in the future as some muppet has drilled them unevenly and not centrally. As for painting bolts etc, I'd know they are there and that's enough to do my head in! :|

If wd40 doesn't work il try the above, cheers.

WD 40 usually removes sticky tape.

Is there anything it can't do? Great product.

Anyone heard the one about using wd40 on mirrors etc and apparently it stops them steaming up?

Always wanted to try it but we stopped using we in work and switched to a cheaper brand

Believe it or not, mayonnaise. It removes the sticky, is non-abrasive and can then be taken off with neat washing up liquid. Also a handy method of removing stickers from furniture etc.

Furniture polish with bees wax is great for the sticky stuff.

As Clem has said it is easy to cut back such a small section.
