Morning chaps,

Apologies in advance for this thought bubble.

I'm fancying a set of HT leads with 90 degree ends for the dizzy. Any ideas where to get some?
I have also considered making up my own set. Am I being daft or is that a reasonable idea? If not a terrible idea can anyone give me an idea of sizes? From memory the wire is 7mm, but I don't know what size ends are required.
Obviously pre-made sets have specific lengths made up to work on our engines, but does the actual lead length matter that much?

Cheers,
George

Got a vague price yesterday... with far, far more cable than I need, 90 degree ends for the dizzy, straight ends for plugs would come in around £25 delivered. Seems that pre-made sets vary from £20-60.

The crimper is the costly part but I'm pretty sure I can get the job done using other methods. The crimps you put in a vice look simple enough (famous last words?!).

My reason behind making custom ones was that I was thinking about moving the coil (so need non-standard lengths), running all the leads one direction and around the back of the shroud, or maybe even running the leads through the fanshroud for a cleaner look. Might be a completely daft idea, but hey, it's an idea :p
