Humby's 68 bay with westy interior (trip to france!)

Hi humby hows it going, nice looking bus u'v got there, im new to the vw scene and iv got myself a 68 bay also, what im after is some photo's of your sink, in my bus i have the sink unit with the little fridge underneeth but no sink in its place is a basin, it would be a great help to me if you would post some pictures so i can see exactly what i am looking for.

Last week I had some free days so I lowered my bus with the red9 kit.

Here she is on her steelies:

But I had some Fuchs laying around, so I replaced the steelies:

I also had a tent for the bus, but I never tried it. As you see it was all new and never used before! I paid the price of a simple Decathlon tent for it! it was from an older couple who had this laying around...

For now we're looking forward to our vacation. 3 weeks @ the west coast in France! Surf s up!

We're back from our roadtrip to France and we had an amazing time! We'll sure go back, but then in June or September, because now it was sometimes to crowdy and sometimes difficult to find some campingspots... But after all it was an outstanding holiday!

this was our trip:

A) Rumst (our hometown)
B) Spa Francorchamps (VW bugshow)
C) Epernay (champagne region)
D) Troyes
E) Beaugency (@ the Loire river)
F) Mimizan
G) Biarritz
H) St jean de luz
I) San Sebastian

It was about 3500km, with no problems at all, eccept that the starter wouldn't work when the engine was really hot. A slight tick of the hammer was the solution...

So here we go:

Sunday was very bad weather so we went to the Champagne region, Epernay. We found a nice camping at the Marne river and we took the Cahmapgne-routeZondag was het slecht weer, dus maar ineens doorgereden naar de champagnestreek, naar Epernay. We also visited the caves of Moët et Chandon.

After 2 days we went to Beaugency and stopped in Troyes, very nice city!

Arrived in Beaugency on a very nice campsite at the Loire:

Then we went to Mimizan, but every campsite there was full! So we went 10km further in the woods and we found a nice campingspot we're we stayed a couple of nights. The owner of that campingplace was also an aircooled lover, so we got a very good spot, and very cheap and clean!

We had a stalker on our way! An Englishman!

Then we went to St jean de luz and stayed there for 8 days!

We had some very nice meals too! Here's some salade de chèvre chaud, deluxe!

From this campsite we made some trips to Biarritz, San Sebastian, Anglet etc etc...

This was in Ainhoa, very small but beautifull village!

and then unfortunally it was over...
again @ Beaugency!

Perfect holiday and we had some great fun with the bus!
