Help. I've been trying to sort out an avatar from an image I've got on photoshop and I can do the 80 pixels thing but I can only get the image down to 14.6 kb and even then it looks fuzzy and rubbish despite the original image being of good quality.

Any advice gratefully recieved. ( I'm a complete computer novice)

post it here so we can DL and fiddle with it for you. just link the original file in our post.

A good free (and more secure) host for your images is picasa from google.

you can create web albums easily with the software locally on your pc then when your ready upload and create images for private public viewing. Its really user friendly.

Gosh that was quick. Here's the picture I'm trying to use.

Thanks for the advice and help. I'll also have a look at that picasa programme.

Either that or you left it with Pablo Picasso to paint it for you!

Looks like a good job getting done though.
