Apparently there is a proposal to change the law for "Taxi & Private Hire Service" which will now include wedding (and funeral) hire services.

I don't know much about it but it seems that it will make it considerable more costly to use your van as a wedding car for hire

Wouldnt it be nice if there was some legislation or change in the rules that made things easier or cheaper. :|

is pretty harsh that!, but just do it as a word of mouth for friends of friends

i know the price wil inevitably be passed on to the customers, but it only affects companies. not those who do it for favours
