Hi planning on putting my rear indicaters into my reverse lights on my 1970 delux,i have nothing in the reverse units as i think these melted in a fire in the usa,so the question is what have people done to keep orange bulb in place and what bulb holder should i use.
Thanks

You will need to source the backing units that hold the bulbs. They should be easy enough to find. Ill check over the weekend as I might have one at least as Ive broken glass lenses in the past and bought replacements.

Thank you ,that would be great, the backing plates were just burnt moulded plastic and not having much luck locating them over here or anything that will work that somebody has done ,,ive bought light units that dont work so any help would be great .

I've used orange led panel lights off ebay inside the reverse lights, no need for the backing peices as long as you get new rubber seals for the lenses

Hope this helps

Great idea is this just a case of wiring them in or do LEDs need resistors etc.?

Great thanks for the idea, ive just checked them out on ebay it looks like a easy fix rather than buying backing plate etc but is it just a wire to them.

Negative and positive, negative can just go to the body if thats how it is at the moment, you may need a resistor or an "led flasher relay" to stop them flashing faster than normal, i'm not using any original switches/relays etc so its an led flasher relay for me

Hope this helps (and yes they are as ridiculously bright as they look lol)

I'll dog out the seller of these exact panels if you want :)
