When I had mine done they hadnt anesthetised me properly and I felt every detail on one side, the two nurses were very nice and tried desperately to distract me as I didnt want to stop and get another injection....

went to work that evening and was sick as a pig, had a 6k track walk carrying about 20lb of gear on my back.....not good....

My advise, if it still hurts after a week then get back to the doctors. The sooner you get them anti biotics, the less chance of purple bollocks. I got in in time
