Kennedy stage 1 pressure plate torque for fixing bolts?

Anybody know the above please? My engine builder says torque the bolts to 22 ft-lbs but have read on a different forum the figure is 14lbs so am very confused(which doesn't take much!)

18 to 22 lb/ft. Needs to be tighter than stock because of the higher loads - assuming you are fitting it because you have a more powerful engine of course.

Stock clutches start to slip at 100 to 120 bhp - hence the need to either put in a stronger clutch or a larger one (which means changing the flywheel and maybe machining or changing the bell housing to cope - depending).

You may need to change the standard bolts for some high tensile ones because the stock bolts often wont take the higher torque setting and stretch or snap.
