according to the Campershop website, they have 'reluctantly decided not to market this Kyham awning for the 2009 season'.

:?: :?:

They are still stocking all the other Kyham ones though, anyone know why?

I've just bought one of these awnings, but won't be using it until Easter, so i'll post back with my honest thoughts on how good it is imho.

I will say this, when the courier dropped it off, i thought there were 2 awnings in the box. It is very heavy to lift. I was planning on sticking on the 2 bow upstairs, but seriously doubt if i'd get it on there!!

Hi Micko,
it would be handy to know what it`s like ;)
Is it very large when packed away?
Cheers Paul

Hey up Paul,

I've still got the cardboard box it came in and the dimensions are printed on it: 72cm X 42cm X 37cm
gross weight 22.8kg
It's too big to fit under my rear bench seat, but mine's a walkthrough so it'll be going between the front and rear facing seats.

The thing is if you want a very big awning then it's going to be big when packed away also.

I'm looking forward to Easter and getting out there, i'm sure it'll be worth the extra time getting up with the added space.

I saw Mark from Fishbrain at Volksworld show (nice guy and very helpful),
he had the Driveaway awning on show and it is very BIG!
But considering wind was blowing alot, it was fairing very well.
Anyway i put down a deposit and should have mine soon :D
Cheers Paul.
