late bay seats into an early bay

can I fit a pair late bay seats into an early bay, I have new wheel tub panels fitted (standard just repair panesl ealry bay type) with no runners at present

They will fit, but you will need the runners welding into place. They are all the same, mounting wise, apart from the very late swivel seats.

my late drivers arent the same and theres no way my seats would fit my early granted its a 79 crew, I cant remember what my 74 seats were like....

Sorry you are right, another exception to the rule! :mrgreen: Driver seats from late non walkthroughs wont fit either ... I think they are identifiable by not having the back adjuster on a winder knob, but on a latch on the side?
