Was just checking the rear interior of my bus & found 2 to 3 inches of water in the spare wheel well :(
Have taken the interior card of the wall & loads of rust & small fragments of metal has fell out :(
After drying it & clearing up the fragements it seems to becoming from just behind the rear window (the particles are coming from betwean the inner & outter skins.
Looks like the only way the water has come in is via the window seal :(
So can anybody tell me the best way to get the window out without knackering it :?
I'll purchase a new seal then get it cleaned up & hopefully get the brother-in-law around with his welder if needed.

Get a sharp blade and cut the rubber seal around the window is how I do it,getting someone to help you hold the window in place will be easier too.Sounds like you will be needing the welder though!

Just what I need at the moment as its my daily driver :(
There's quite a few patches of rust starting to turn up so I'd better start on them as well :(

sounds like the tailgate has rotted under the rubber, they tend to go in the corners.
weld it up or get a new tailgate

Its actually the side window not the tailgate but now you've mentioned it there was a few drops of water coming through it went we went to Mach8 this year :( So probably worth sorting at the same time.
This water leaking is contagious :?

Sort it out asap or it'll rot your wheel arch as well. Mine had a leaking window there as well and now as well as having to replace the bottom window metal, I have to cut out a bit of the bottom side panel beside the wheel arch too!
