Local Meets

Hi,

Not been on the site long but i've noticed you organise local meets from time to time but these seem to be quite far down south.

Would anyone be up for a meet of some kind in the midlands area and are there any early bayers in the Nottingham area at all?

i'd be up for a midlands Early Bayers meet... i went to a VW meet in Hinckley the other week organised by a lad on here so i'm sure he'd be up for it too.

I guess most people will be going to Dub Freeze so maybe it could be a case of meeting up there?

yeah, i'd be up for that, unless i get stuck in the alpes, or my front panel repair has any problems (van should be finished on the 14th) =)

Well i'm up for a meet some time soon! seems wrong to have a van n just leave it sat on the drive!

If we can get 5-10 names down surely must be worth a trip somewhere on a quiet Sunday!

Anyone got any idea's of a suitable location?

Nope thats not me mate just got my bay about 4 months ago.

There is a guy with a 68 about 3 miles from me though called Simon got a kind of camo green 68 that might be him?

If we get 5 or more names n everyone is ok with Sherwood Pines then we should arrange it for the end of the month maybe?
