louver window in sliding door of 1970 bay

Hello all!
Attemping to fit a Louver window in the sliding door of my 1970 bay. Its in but the rubber is stuck out along the top edge.
The aluminium part of the window is seated right against the lip of the door. it can't go in any further.

I have put another louver window in on the other side and it went in easy. rubber nicely seated.

Anyone else had this problem?

Yeh had similar problem fitting mine, think you have to hook the top of the window in first then push the bottom in!!
