Lowering the arse!

I’ve recently fitted a lowered front end , and knowing I had adjustable spring plates at the back , thought this would be an easy job to get the back down a touch to level the bus out…but no!
The adjusters are fully wound out,so it looks like I need to fettle it on the splines.
So the question is having watched a few how to vids, when I detach the spring plates do I have to disconnect the brake pipe? I’m hoping not as just having fitted discs up front, I’ve had all the brakes bleed..

I would. It's not a major task to bleed the breaks if you are planning on pulling the spring plates.

You don’t need to do any of that with adjustable springlates. The section on the splines comes off separately - just move it round a notch and re fit. Biggest hassle will be taking the wheel off.

Its a job i need to do on one side of ours. someone got one side at least a spline out, so i had to balance just for now using the grubscrew fine tuners.
