M-Code help?

Hi

I have, what I was told, was a 1970 deluxe cali bus. From reading the link info on M-codes i'm now really confused

??

My bus has the exterior trim etc (but no clock)

Could someone decipher this plate please:

Any help greatly appreciated!! - AND if she's not a deluxe

, was it common for microbuses to have all the chrome fitted from factory???

first line is your chassis number 02171 960 minus the first two digits (22)

second line 686 - ??
140 - fire truck !!!!!!
D25 - specs for the USA
026 - Carbon container for absorbing fuel vapour
042 - ???
508 - vent wing in sliding door and in all windows in the opposite side panel

Third line product date 14 2 date 14th week tuesday.
7932 - ????
UF - San Diego (destination)
2211 21 - microbus sliding door right 7 seater 47 BHP engine manual box and exhaust control system.

Fire Truck? - I'm sure she's never been a fire truck!

I'm confused over the chrome trim then if she's a micro? - All trim appears factory??

I'll try and get in touch with the original owner in cali as well....

she was sold from "Fred Lucksinger Motors, Inc. 955 Morro Street. San Luis Obispo, Calif. 93401" - I've looked on google but all I can find out so far is that the owner of the dealership died in March 2004 aged 82 - I assume the dealership died before or with him as it's not listed - I was hoping to see if they still had a record of sale or something??
