It turns out to be the cable to the solenoid , but when i tryed to fix it the solenoid cracked :shock:

lucky for me my mate could help me out and get me home.
work starts tomorow on the strip down, so on monday i can get the bits
Its fun this vw thing

Thanks, got it all sorted yesterday, a mate had a solenoid so on it went.
