Hi Guys,

How hard is it to fit a new roof canvas and are there any particular ones which are best :?:

I fitted a JustKampers one on my Westy. Fitted a treat and took about 4 hours, just follow the destructions and with the help of a friend it's not too hard at all.

I did a Westy one from JK too. My instructions were a little crappy TBH. Just photocopied sheets, with page 5 missing. Worked it out for myself in the end. But it was a good fit and is water tight. The only problem I have found with it is that the canvas is much thinner than the original so it billows out when driving along.

Yep! takes a good 4 hours, get help and take pop off the van, get a good stapler and set out from the centre, and don't do what I done when I had to take it off for paint (put back on inside out) :(

NO COMMENTS OR TAKING THE P**S AT VANFEST PLEASE THE MRS HAS ALREADY GIVING ME GRIEF

Depends on the roof, we've done a couple of campmobiles which were a piece of piss, saw an early devon done which looked pretty easy to, and we did a dormobile which took the best part of day. More time consuming and fiddly than difficult though.
