At the moment I am bumperless front and rear. Can't find a rear for love nor money but I have a new front (diamond shape holes) but no cab steps. I'm hoping to get a complete second hand front soon(ish). My question is that I'm getting v worried leaving my van on the street like this and I'm thinking of fitting the new front bumper. Will it be dangerous (not that I drive much anywhere) as I have no cab steps to round off the bumper - i.e sharp edges? Also it's finished in a black coating and I'm not sure whether I'd need to primer it at all?
Thanks

Yeah that black stuff is just to stop surface rust in transit, sand it off and hit it with a good quality primer.
