Hi There,
currently own a 1967 Split SO42 Westy , but on the look out for a mint pre 71 Westy

Yea sold the split just over 3 years ago I think from memory.
Replaced it with an SO69 last September.

Having a young family the bay is a lot more practical and you also get a lot more for the money.

PS does this mean you are selling the Split or just adding as it's a beauty.

It's far from perfect and the pics show it a lot better than it is. Bascically I looked at loads before I got this one to find they were rot boxes and having paid for a restoration in the past didn't want to go there again.

I couldn't relax with the split as i was always worried that it would get damaged but with this one i'm not paranoid as I'll always get my money back if I were to sell it and don't mind a few dings and prangs as it's been used for what it was built for.

As for yours I'm certain you will get interest as it's a very sought after model and in fantastic condition but may take a while for the serious buyers to come out of the wood work.

I had mine up for 8 months with not much joy and in the end had 3 buyers in a week fighting over it.

The biggest problem is that most potential buyers don't realise the resto costs and think they can get a van done a hell of a lot cheaper never mind the interior parts.
