no power to dash

hi all
I pull up and switch off to go in shop and came out and now have no power to dash ,battery fine any ideas, as slamed engine lid and power came back ,turned key and power went on again yurn key and poer went off again ,got recovered home ,
where should i start to look to resolve
1969 Lhd Bay using dynamo with voltage regulater

If there was nowt there then you slammed the engine lid and it juiced up again, something is loose! I'd start at the battery terminals and work forward from there dude

Yep check connections to battery ,redone earth strap and pos conection and still nothing

Sorted !! Moved earth strap and away she went ! Result
