For sale ford mondeo 1.8 1997/98 R plate
This has been a cracking car have covered about 14k in the last 14 months or so and hasn't missed a beat and starts on the button and got me through that nasty winter last year with no probs .
Mileage is 83,600 so still nice and low for the year and wont go up much as its not used very often now.
Had a service 6 months ago which included , plugs , leads , air filter , correct oil 5w/30 and filter , new discs and pads on front , new anti roll bar drop links , tie rod ends ,
with the last oil and filter change being just before december so a good while before that needs doing again .
Has a huge boot and a even bigger load space with the seats down so good for transporting stuff .
taxed/mot'd untill end of april with no advisorys on last mot
Good bits :
most stuff is electric inc :
front windows
heated front / rear screen
Air con
PAS
central locking
4 good tyres with loads of tread on them
factory fitted imobiliser
CD player
Not so good bits : ( just little niggles really ) looks like an essay but just being honest
A few small scuffs on the paint work but they are light with the worst being on the passenger side wing , but paint/body work is in good condition just a bit of kerb rash on some of the wheels
Central locking for some reason in the winter can take a min to catch up with the drivers door ( as in unlock the drivers door and the others can take between 5 seconds and a minute to catch up ) dosnt do in in the spring / summer but other wise all works fine .
Passenger window is slow to go up and down but recon this is just due to lack of use as if you do it a good few times its ok untill left for a while again but does work ok .
heated front screen the drivers side clears well and quickly but the passenger side dosnt always clear but wth the blowers on clears quickly anyway and the heater works very well :tup:
under hard left hand cornering there is a slight clicking ( sounds like a cable tie catching something ) thought it was a cv joint so had this replaced not long ago but still does it every now and again and like i said only under hard cornering and have had this looked at a few times and carnt find anything wrong anywhere ????
I only have 1 key for the car as it only came with one these are still readily available but would need codeing

appart from those few niggles it drives spot on and and returns pretty good fuel economy reaching around the 40mpg mark on a steady run .
If required i have 2 firestone tyres that can go with the car with excellent tread not that any of them need replacing for a long time
am asking £475 or best offer

I am based in Redditch B98 area 10 mins from junction 2 or 3 of the M42
Viewing would either have to be of an evening between 5pm and 7 pm ( due to having a small child have to work round him ) , or any time of a weekend in daylight
