Not quite a barn find... more of an attic find!!

My Grandad wrote me a letter telling me my mum had been clearing out his attic and found something I might be interested in...

An awning he used in the 70's when he had two bays - one of which my mum learnt to drive in!! He is a very methodical man and as such this awning is like new, no perishing on any rubbers, canvass clean and unfaded, vinyl windows like new, now tears anywhere to be seen, all pegs and guy ropes still there, even the bags are in A1 condition :mrgreen:

LOL, no idea fella. Going to go see him to thank him. He lives nr Gloucester and I'm in Leeds so don;t see him as often as I should, and I have never been in his attic. He is however a very clever man and has throughout his life made 'things' - devices, gadgets etc - from scratch so i am sure he would have lots of cool stuff hanging around 8)
