Oil pick up replacement

I've just bought an auto linea new crankcase and although the case is great the oil pick up doesn't. I was going exchange it for my original vw one. Question is, is this an easy job or do I need specialist tools, I haven't split my original case yet so I haven't had a look how it's fixed.

If you can't remove it by jiggling it once the case is split and the mounting nut removed, you need to remove the case core plug next to the oil pump and carefully tap/press it out from there.
